Perucchetti’s custom designs use complex blends of specialist ingredients to stunningly enhance an extensive range of finish effects, from the interplay with light — translucency, reflection and pearlescence — to dramatic, radiant, opaque textures with shimmers of precious metals; from the ethereal glistening of rare minerals, to antiqued patinas and the natural beauty of precious stones and marble finishes.
Bespoke Traditional Venetian Plasters
Polished Plaster / Stucco Veneziano
Stucco Veneziano is the Italian for Venetian Plaster made of slaked lime and varying degrees of marble dust. Our hydrated lime plasters are applied in three to four fine layers, each meticulously worked to allow inherent mineral elements to cure and give depth and movement. Smooth finishes of differing sheens which can be embellished with additional mineral effects resulting in subtle speckling or rippled patterning. It is often used as a superior alternative to Tadelakt.
Cured Grassello
An aged lime based putty containing exceptionally fine grain marble powder that forms the top coat of these polished plaster finishes. With skilful application and trowel work our 25-year-old cured grassello produces subtle depth, movement and opacity yielding typically smooth, high gloss, mirror-like finishes. A refined, luxurious aesthetic making it a popular choice for both classic and contemporary interiors. Our cured grassello can be enhanced and embellished by combinations of pigments and elemental infusions. Some of our variations include: Spatulata, Cushion, Broken Grassello and Lava Flow.
Textured Marmarino
A slaked lime-based plaster containing coarser grain marble powder producing variably textured and patterned organic finishes of differing sheens. Our proprietary marmarino is blended with pigments and minerals to achieve a variety of textured finishes in almost any colour evoking beautiful natural materials such as stone, marble, precious metals, wood and leather amongst many others. Some of our finished textures include: Pumice, Elephant Skin, Travertine, Limestone, Lava Flow, Cushion, Concrete, Clay, Rockface and Blockwork.
