Perucchetti’s custom designs use complex blends of specialist ingredients to stunningly enhance an extensive range of finish effects, from the interplay with light — translucency, reflection and pearlescence — to dramatic, radiant, opaque textures with shimmers of precious metals; from the ethereal glistening of rare minerals, to antiqued patinas and the natural beauty of precious stones and marble finishes.
Bespoke Traditional Venetian Plasters
Cured Grassello
Typically high gloss, mirror-like, smooth finishes. Our 25-year-old grassello (hydrated lime putty) forms the top coat of these plaster finishes with skilful application and trowel work producing subtle depth, movement and opacity. A refined, sumptuous aesthetic with a smooth finish which can be enhanced and embellished by pigmental combinations and elemental infusions. Some of our variations include: Spatulata, Cushion, Broken Grassello, and Lava Flow.
Smooth Marmarino / Polished Plaster
Smooth, flat finishes of varying sheens with inherent mineral and trace marble content worked into subtle speckling or rippled patterning. Our hydrated lime plasters are applied in four to five fine layers, each meticulously worked in a timely fashion to allow inherent mineral elements to cure and give depth and movement. Often embellished with additional mineral effects and often used as a superior alternative to Tadelakt.
Textured Marmarino
Variably textured and patterned organic finishes of varying sheens. Marble granules of different grades are blended with our lime plasters, pigments and minerals to achieve a selection of textured finishes that evoke beautiful natural materials such as stone, marble, precious metals, wood, leather and amongst others. Some of our textures include: Pumice, Elephant Skin, Travertine, Limestone, Lava Flow, Cushion, Concrete, Clay, Rockface and Blockwork.
Decorative Effects
Our combinations and layering of finishes and techniques create stunning and dramatic decorative finishes for statement rooms, decorative panels and furniture. From friezes and murals to intricate patterning and bas-relief work, our vast range of textures, colours and effects are skilfully united in limitless designs to deliver unique aesthetics to all design briefs.
Specialist Decoration
Perucchetti offers specialist painting effects that mimic and complement our plaster finishes to enhance the effect of colour and texture across architectural detailing. This includes but is not limited to Trompe L’Oeil, marble and stone effects and lacquer finishes.
